No more office
Well I just finished moving the last of my paperwork and supplies from my private office to my new desk. It was a long time coming and it made perfect sense. I was the only person on my side of the building and it wasn’t exactly cost-effective to have an entire half of the floor air-conditioned and lit just for me.
It’s actually going to have a positive effect on my social skills as I’ll be out of my cave and thrust back into society. I’ll actually have to talk with my co-workers for a change. It’s probably going to have a positive effect on my production as well.
I found that it’s easier to get distracted when you’re by yourself rather than when you’re immersed in the fold of office activity. Energy feeds on energy and if you’re not creating energy on your own, guess what happens?
All my clients will get more of my attention.
