Mashed Up (No Potatoes)
Have you ever heard of Mash-Ups? They’re usually DJ mixed tracks that combine two or more songs from different genres (i.e. Rock & Rap, Electronic & Hip-Hop, etc). There’s a ton of them out there. Most sound like someone is just playing two songs at the same time and they’re terrible.
However, sometimes there are DJs out there that do a good job and can make a song that’s takes the best out of each song that they’re mashing.
I especially love it when they take an older song and mash it with something more contemporary.
