California Voting Issues - Does your vote count?

Feb 6th, 2008 | By CeeDubb | Category: General

Seems as if there’s concern that the non-partisan votes for The Obaminator are counting because of a bubble that was supposed to be filled at the top of the ballot. This bubble was supposed to indicate if you were voting Democrat.

I don’t know if this is accurate as I did not see this bubble on my ballot. In fact, the stupidest thing about my polling location is that they asked how I was voting. Not that I care that people know, but so much for privacy… Well, I got a DEMOCRATIC BALLOT with no bubble. I don’t know if this was the case with the other Obama/Clinton voters that were concerned.

If these errors were corrected, do you think it would change the California results? I think the sad part is the redundancy. Isn’t it self-explanatory that if you vote for a Democratic candidate, you’re voting Democrat? Or is that just too simple?

I just read that possibly 776,000 votes wouldn’t be counted. Anyone have any input?
