Twitter Down – Millions Affected
On Monday, May 19, 2008 at 1:45pm PST, Twitter, the Internet-based Social Networking sensation, went down leaving millions out of touch.
Counseling centers are being opened nationwide to provide comfort for those affected.
No official word on the extent of the damages.

2:34pm – Site access is back up. Some functionality restored. Third-party Twitter apps still have issues with logins. Brightkite is able to cross-post. 2 hour maintenance scheduled for Midnight, 5/20/2008.
2:50pm – Twinkle is back online. Resume your regularly scheduled programming.
