For those out there that haven’t gotten the chance to use their shiny iPhones for a little bit of x-rated surfing, here’s your chance. It’s all courtesy of Zinio.
Normally, you can get digital versions of most magazines for $5 a pop, or $7.99+ a subscription, for viewing on your computer or laptop. For the time-being, you can see the full current issues of everything 20 selected magazines on your iPhone. And that includes Playboy and Penthouse.
- When your first point your iPhone’s Mobile Safari browser to http://zinio.com/iphone you’ll be greeted by a splash page of all the magazines you can preview.
- Clicking on an adult magazine will prompt you to verify that you’re over the age of 18.
- You’ll then be taken to a navigation view where you can arrow through each page of the magazine. It says that it’s best viewed in landscape mode, but it’s actually better to view it in portrait.
- Clicking on a page will bring it full screen.
- Clicking on the “Contents” link on the top of the page will bring up a Table of Contents where you can jump to the major articles and pictorials.
So it depends if you wanna see the magazine with the airbrushed “sophisticates” or airbrushed skanks. I prefer the former because believe it or not, there are a few good articles in this issue.
