CeeDubb.com – Now iPhone-Friendly!
Well. Almost…
I’ve been trying to find a simple way to get my site formatted for the iPhone/iPod Touch. I use Tumblr for mobile.ceedubb.com, but it would involve a double posting of content for my main and mobile site.
I was convinced that I’d have to code a completely different subdomain that would tap into the posts of my main site.
But then I discovered the WPTouch WordPress plug-in from Brave New Code. They did a wonderful job of doing all the hard work for me.
It works simply and beautifully. Visiting my site from a normal web browser will give you the full experience. Visiting from an iPhone or iPod Touch will give you a theme specifically formatted for them. Some of the code for my full site really isn’t suited for mobile viewing (especially Flash content).

Update: Since Flash isn’t supported on the iPhone, I’ve been slowly converting .flv and .mp3 files to Quicktime. There are a few issues as I do not want to have large .mov files for video. It’s a work in progress…
