Brightkite
The tagline for Brightkite should be, “Where am I doing?” It’s a location-based social networking service where you can track your friends and meet people around you in real-time. Brightkite is currently in Beta and is Invite-Only. Send me a message if you would like an invite to go play.

MySpace
I jumped on this bandwagon a long time ago and I’ve been wanting to jump off. Can’t bring myself to leave just yet. I customized my page with an overlay. Take a peek so you can see what the opposite of how a crap page looks.

This place is iPhone-enabled, but my visits there have waned over the months. Brightkite and Twitter are much more addicting.

My uncle sent me an invite to this. Seems like I can’t take 5 steps without stumbling upon another site that wants to dethrone MySpace from its perch atop the “Social Networking Throne.” It’s a pain in the ass to sign up as you have to wade through screen after screen of advertising offers. Much of it’s content is based on Widgets through partnering sites. It looks like Tagged.com want to be your portal to the web.
